Everett APT Board Job Descriptions:
Board of Education Liaisons
Attend D67 School Board Meetings (4th Tuesday evening of each month); attend Ed/Leg Committee Meetings (approx 2 times per year); report to Everett APT Board.
Celebration Book Club Coordinators
Promote donation of books to Everett's Information Resource Center IRC; manage administrative responsibilities (send out student requests and thank donors).
Spirit Wear Coordinators
Promote sales and manage administrative responsibilities (take orders, order clothing, and distribution) for Everett Eagle clothing during first few weeks of school.
Community Service Coordinators
Coordinate community outreach activities (food and book drives, Earth Week) and assist parent volunteers to staff various programs.
Directory / Membership Coordinators
Represent Everett on District 67 Directory development activities. Coordinate Directory distribution to Everett families in the fall.
Social Emotional Learning Coordinators (SEL)
Shares information regarding District 67's social emotional culture and climate with both parents and students; works in conjunction with LEAD and helps plan and host District 67 sponsored educational programming.
Fine Arts/Visiting Author/Visiting Scientist Coordinators
Publicize and coordinate Fine Arts, Visiting Author and Visiting Scientist programs, including setup and staff program evaluation.
Food Service Coordinators
Coordinate parent volunteers for recess duty; represent Everett in meetings with Quest Food Service and Wellness Committee meetings; coordinate activities for National Nutrition Month.
Kindergarten Coordinator (for Fall of 2020)
Communicate APT-related information to parents of Kindergarteners during the summer, plan play dates for Kindergarteners and a Mom's Night prior to beginning of school, and coordinate yard sign distribution in August before school begins. Work begins in the spring of 2019 and majority takes place from April - September.
New Family Coordinators
Oversee Everett annual APT membership drive, welcome new families (pair families through Buddy Program, deliver welcome packets), host New Family/Kindergarten Coffee in the fall.
Music / Wellness Coordinators
Set-up, assist during shows and clean-up for Everett Holiday Music Show in December and Spring Music Show in May. Assist Wellness Teachers with refreshments for Field Day.
Room Parent Coordinators
Assist in the selection of class Room Parents; host Room Parent Orientation in the fall; provide ongoing support and information to room parents throughout the school year; oversee the coordination of grade level Everett Evening Socials; plan and implement student projects for Teacher Appreciation Week in May.
School Supply Coordinators
Coordinate the SchoolPak School Supply Program for Everett, including order tracking and distribution of supplies for start of school year.
Special Events Committee
Plan and implement student and family social events including Fall Family Picnic, Halloween Party, Winter Party and Spring Ice Cream Social.
Teacher Appreciation Committee
Coordinate Everett staff appreciation events (Back-To-School and Conference Lunches, Holiday Cookie Exchange, Curriculum Nights and Family Sharing Night staff pizza dinners); coordinate Teacher Apreciation Week Activities.
Yearbook Coordinators
Work with Yearbook Committee members to organize Everett's yearbook for publication; coordinate yearbook sales and distribution, and manage school picture day and picture retake day
Yearbook Grade Level Photographers
These photographers will take pictures at various APT sponsored events (Halloween Party, Fall Family Picnic, Spring Ice Cream Social, etc.) and distribute them to the appropriate APT Committee Chair (Yearbook and Communications Chairs).
